Description of TIMS Database

The TIMS Database includes all information required to configure, optimize, and manage the Global Internet WAN, LAN, and End-Point Networking (EPN) Devices of your technology Infrastructure. As an example, all Company-Owned EPN Devices in the Database contains the following information:

• Location.
• Department.
• IPv4 Address (if static).
• Manufacturer Name.
• Model Number.
• Serial Number.
• CPU Type (Incl. # of Cores).
• Operating System.
• RAM.
• Hard Disk Capacity.
• Network Adapter & Speed.
• Media Access Control (MAC) Address.
• Firmware/BIOS Release Level.
• Date EPN Device Acquired.

The above information would not only be available to the TIMC but could also be used for financial control, asset tracking, and auditing purposes.
