What a Technology
Infrastructure? |
All technology
infrastructure includes
three
major components:
-
A Wide Area Network
(WAN) - such as the Global Internet WAN.
-
One or more Local Area Networks (LANs) - Composed of Routers, Switches, Wireless
Access Points (WAPs),
and other LAN
components.
-
Multiple End-Point Networking (EPD) Devices - for example WAN-attached and/or LAN-attached
PCs, MACs, tablets,
smartphones.
The primary function of Technology
Infrastructure is provide
ubiquitous access to
Applications and Database
Servers attached to the LAN
or the WAN. These business
applications can located on:
-
Internet and
Intranet Web Servers.
-
Cloud Computing
Provider (CSP) Servers.
-
Legacy Application
Database Servers.
All
businesses
ranging from small
mom-n-pop home-offices up to
Fortune 1000 companies with
tens of thousands of
employees, have a technology
infrastructure of some type.
At most large companies,
these technology
infrastructures are either
outsourced to network
service providers, or managed by a staff
of professionals from the
specified company's IT
department. However, at many
small businesses with
limited budgets and no IT
staffs, these technology
infrastructures are composed
of network components that
were acquired over a period
of time and without a formal
network infrastructure
framework. In most
instances, these components
were installed by
inexperienced technicians
using the "out-of-the-box
default parameters.

Our Small-Business
Technology
Infrastructure |
Our Small-Business Technology
Infrastructure
is designed to
support small-businesses
with less than one hundred
employees, and can be
managed remotely by
our
cloud-based
Technology Infrastructure
Management Console (TIMC).
The hardware,
software, and protocols
supported by this
technology infrastructure
are
based on open industry
standard,
and
this enables us to use
inexpensive, plug-n-play
networking components from a
variety of network equipment
vendors. New technology
components can be seamlessly
integrates into an
existing
technology
infrastructure with little
or no changes to the
remaining components.

Managing the
Small-Business
Technology
Infrastructure |
While it may appear to be a
daunting, expensive
proposition to migrate your
existing network systems to
our Technology
infrastructure, if it is
done properly, it is a
relatively simple process
that can be done in a matter
of days. In most cases, we
can use all of your existing
network hardware, with the
single exception of a new,
state-of-the-art multi-WAN
router with integrated VPN
and firewall support. This
new router will become the
central component of your
new technology
infrastructure, and will be
used to manage and monitor
your LAN, WAN, and end-point
devices. After the migration
is completed, you will only
be charge a small monthly
fee for the 24x7 monitoring
services performed by our
Technology Infrastructure
Management Console (TIMS).
You should not have to make
any additional investment in
network hardware or software
to support your existing
business requirements. The
following is a list of the
services we provide:
· LAN Design & Optimization
WAN Performance Monitoring
· End-Point Networking (EPN)
· Cloud Computing Integration
· Internet/Intranet
Support
· VPN Design & Implementation
· Wi-Fi/BYOD Access Security
· TIMS Database Management
